Reports can contain URLs, screenshots, recommendations, and sometimes authenticated page evidence. Share them deliberately.
Public and private reports
Public web scans can usually be shared with teammates, clients, or vendors. Authenticated scans are private by default because they may include logged-in screenshots or page data.
Share links
When sharing is enabled, PageLens creates a report link that can be opened outside your account. Use this for collaborators who do not need full dashboard access.
If the report is sensitive, use password protection where available and share the password through a separate channel.
What to include in handoff
When sending a report to someone else, include:
- the report link
- the goal of the scan
- the pages or routes scanned
- the highest-priority findings you want fixed first
- whether the report was desktop, mobile, or both
When not to share
Do not share a report publicly if it includes private app screens, customer data, unpublished pages, staging routes, or security-sensitive implementation details. Open a support ticket if you are unsure how a report was classified.
