Why founders are switching

$5,000 audit.
6-week delivery.
Or a PDF nobody reads.

Traditional consultancies charge thousands and take weeks to review what an AI can review in minutes. We built PageLens AI for the 99% of sites that need fast, honest, actionable feedback — not 80 pages of consultant-speak.

From the founder

Hi — I'm Anna. PageLens AI is a two-person side project: me, and my husband, who has spent twenty years as a full-stack engineer (five of them obsessing over performance for some of the world's biggest brands). He started using AI agents to ship side projects and got tired of them shipping broken. So he built a scanner to keep his own AI output honest. Then a friend wanted it. Then someone offered to pay. Here we are.

The kind of issues we surface

Most sites have at least 12 of these. Yours probably does too.

Real findings (anonymised) from recent scans — every one of them hurting conversion, ranking, or trust.

CRITICALAccessibility

Form inputs missing labels

Submit button on /pricing fails WCAG 1.3.1 — invisible to ~15% of users on assistive tech.

HIGHSEO

Duplicate H1 across templates

Same H1 on /blog and /docs is splitting your authority and confusing rankings.

HIGHSecurity

No Content-Security-Policy

Single XSS in any 3rd-party script can hijack auth tokens. CSP closes that door.

MEDIUMPerformance

Hero image 2.4MB unoptimised

At 4G this delays LCP by ~1.8s — Google ranks you down for it.

HIGHUX

Primary CTA below the fold on mobile

On 375px viewports the “Sign up” button requires a scroll — measurable conversion drop.

MEDIUMContent

Broken anchor link in footer

`/about#team` returns a 404 fragment. Trust-eroding and easy to miss in QA.

From URL to insight in three steps

No setup. No SDK. No code changes.

AI sees what users see

Our crawler visits every page, screenshots it, reads the HTML & headers, then a vision-capable AI analyses everything. Optionally render every page at desktop AND mobile so device-specific issues actually surface.

Story

Send to a stakeholder

Top 5 findings, cinematic write-up, hero screenshot. The one-pager you'd hand a non-technical exec or a client.

Quick Wins

Plan the sprint

Impact × Effort matrix. Quick Wins (high impact, ≤1 day) sit top-left. Big Bets, Polish and Low Priority fill the other quadrants.

All Findings

Engineering inventory

Every finding, filterable by persona, category and severity. Rule IDs, copy-pasteable evidence, the works.

Every fix has an effort estimate

Not just "this is bad" — "this is bad and it'll take you an hour." So you can decide what actually ships this week.

9 categories. Hundreds of checks. One report.

Every dimension that matters to your visitors and to Google.

Errors

Broken links, missing images, JavaScript errors, and page load failures.

UX

Navigation confusion, poor mobile experience, and interaction issues.

WCAG compliance, screen reader support, contrast ratios, and alt text.

SEO

Meta tags, headings, structured data, and search engine best practices.

Performance

Load times, image optimisation, render-blocking resources.

Design

Visual consistency, typography, spacing, and responsive layout.

Content

Spelling, grammar, readability, and content quality.

Security

HTTPS, mixed content, exposed data, and vulnerability risks.

Built it with AI, no-code, or by hand?

We have a tailored audit checklist for every popular way to ship a site.

The OG checker shows you the picture & text that pop up when your link is shared on Slack, iMessage, X or LinkedIn. Free, no signup.

Pay per scan. Pick your size.

Most people start with Standard — then run cheaper Starter scans for ongoing checks.

Page counts are caps, not quotas — we crawl as much of your site as it has, up to your tier's limit. A 12-page site on the Standard tier gets a 12-page audit, not 50.

New

Prove your score on your own site

Verify your domain once and embed a signed PageLens AI badge anywhere — site footer, README, pitch deck. Always shows your latest score, always links to a public trust page.

pagelensai.com/verified/example.com

Verified, not self-serve

Prove ownership via DNS, .well-known file or HTML meta tag. Anyone can claim a badge — only the real owner can publish one.

Always up-to-date

Every new scan refreshes the badge automatically. Re-verify any time to reset the freshness clock — verifications older than 90 days show a clear "stale" flag.

Tamper-proof

Every badge is HMAC-signed by us. Embed the SVG or Shields.io-compatible JSON — both carry the signature so the score can't be forged.

Honest answers

No marketing fluff.

How does PageLens AI scan my website?
We use real browser automation to visit every page of your site, capture optimised screenshots, and read the rendered HTML and HTTP headers — exactly like a real user. A vision-capable AI then analyses each page across 9 categories and generates findings with severity ratings and fix suggestions.
How long does a scan take?
Most scans complete in 5–15 minutes. Larger sites take longer — but you can leave the tab and we'll email you when it's ready.
Is $1 really enough? What's the catch?
No catch. Our cost-per-scan is genuinely low because the AI does the work, not a $200/hour consultant. We make it back on volume — and on customers who come back monthly to re-scan.
What does "up to 50 pages" actually mean?
Page counts on every tier are caps, not quotas. We start at the URL you give us and crawl outward through your internal links until we either run out of pages or hit your tier's limit. If your site has fewer pages than the cap, you still get the full audit at the tier price — there's no "unused page" credit, but there's also no penalty for picking a tier that's bigger than you ended up needing. Pick the tier that comfortably covers the size of your site.
What if my site is bigger than the Enterprise tier's 500 pages?
We'll crawl the first 500 pages following your internal link graph (homepage outward, breadth-first). For sites larger than that, run multiple scans rooted at different sections, or contact us — we can quote a custom enterprise scan.
Is my website data secure?
Yes. We only crawl publicly-accessible pages. Screenshots and HTML are stored on your scan only and accessed via a private proxy — never exposed publicly. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
How long do you keep my screenshots?
Screenshots stay around for 90 days after a paid scan completes (30 days for free trial scans, 14 days for failed scans), then they're automatically deleted from blob storage. This keeps storage costs down — without a sweep, every scan would accrete cost forever for content nobody opens. Your audit findings, executive summary, persona reviews, scores, and page metadata are kept indefinitely; only the image files themselves are removed. Reports continue to render and PDF-export normally — they just show a placeholder where the screenshots used to be. If you need a long-term archive, download the PDF while the report is fresh.
What's included in the report?
An executive summary with health score, findings across 9 categories (Errors, UX, Accessibility, SEO, Performance, Design, Content, Security, Security Headers), severity ratings, an Impact × Effort matrix with your Quick Wins highlighted, page-by-page screenshots (at desktop and/or mobile, your choice), a security headers grade, and a downloadable PDF.
Can I have my site reviewed at desktop and mobile?
Yes. When you start a scan you pick Desktop, Mobile, or Both. Single-viewport scans are billed at the tier price you see on this page; choosing "Both" bills at 2× the tier price (a Standard scan goes from $5 to $10) because the worker captures every URL twice — 1440 × 900 with a desktop Chrome user-agent for desktop, 390 × 844 with an iPhone profile (touch input + iOS Safari user-agent string) for mobile, with a fresh browser context each time, both rendered in headless Chromium via Playwright. Two real renders, twice the AI cost, hence the doubled price. In return, device-specific findings (a hamburger nav that won't open, a hero image that's offscreen on iPhone, a CTA that needs scrolling on a 375px screen) actually appear in the report instead of hiding behind whichever single viewport you chose. Page-by-page view shows desktop and mobile screenshots side-by-side; findings carry a small viewport chip so you can spot mobile-only issues at a glance. The executive summary and the eight persona reviews are merged into one cohesive narrative that names the viewport when it matters. Note: this is Chromium-based emulation, not the actual WebKit engine — most layout, touch and viewport bugs reproduce, but a small class of true Safari-only rendering quirks (e.g. specific WebKit CSS bugs) won't.
Can I tailor the report to a specific use case?
Yes — pick a lens when you start the scan: Pre-sales, Pre-launch, Conversion, Investor or Brand polish. The executive summary, finding ranking, and persona ordering all shift to that voice (e.g. Conversion pushes CRO and UX to the top; Investor leads with security, performance, and trust signals). Lens is optional — leave it off for a neutral audit.
How do the three views work?
Same audit, three lenses on it. Story shows your top 5 findings as a pitch-ready narrative (great for stakeholders or clients). Quick Wins is an Impact × Effort 2×2 matrix — high-impact, low-effort fixes sit top-left so you can plan a sprint in 30 seconds. All Findings is the full filterable inventory by persona, category and severity, with rule IDs and copy-pasteable evidence for engineers. Switch between them with one click; the URL updates so you can bookmark a view or send it to a teammate.
Do you tell me how long each fix will take?
Yes. Every finding carries an effort tag — Quick (<1 hour), Moderate (<1 day) or Involved (>1 day) — alongside its severity. That powers the Quick Wins matrix and lets you sort the backlog honestly: the cheapest, highest-impact work first.
Can I share my report with my team?
Yes — every report comes with a unique private shareable link. No account required to view.
Can I prove my PageLens AI score on my own site?
Yes — every paid scan unlocks a verified-domain badge. Prove ownership of your domain once (DNS TXT record, .well-known file or HTML meta tag — your choice), and we generate a signed, embeddable badge plus a public /verified/<your-domain> trust page that anyone can visit to confirm the score. The badge stays accurate because it always shows your latest scan, and the SVG is HMAC-signed so it can't be forged. Drop it in your site footer, README or pitch deck just like a code-coverage badge.
Do you handle JavaScript-rendered apps (Next.js, React, Vue)?
Yes. We use headless Chrome under the hood, so single-page apps render fully before we capture the page.
What if my scan fails?
You get to retry it for free as many times as needed. If we genuinely can't access your site, we'll refund you.
