Service provider
The PageLens AI service is operated by Anna Moore (sole trader) trading as PageLens AI, registered at 6 Farm Lane, Send, Surrey, GU23 7AT, United Kingdom.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PageLens AIwebsite and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Anna Moore (sole trader) trading as PageLens AI, and "you" refers to the user of the Service.
2. Description of Service
PageLens AI provides automated, AI-powered website auditing services. The Service analyzes publicly accessible web pages and, where you configure an authenticated scan for a verified domain, explicit authenticated application routes that you provide. It generates reports covering errors, user experience, accessibility, SEO, performance, design, content, security, HTTP security headers, and page performance metrics. Reports are generated by artificial intelligence and automated analysis tools.
Scans are run from Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the scan region selected when the scan is submitted. The default scan region is AWS London (eu-west-2). If your website, firewall, CDN, WAF, or bot-protection provider blocks traffic from AWS or from the selected region, the scan may fail or return an incomplete report.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Permitted Use & Restrictions
You may only use the Service to scan websites that you own, operate, or have explicit authorization to scan. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to scan websites without the owner's consent
- Attempt to use the Service to exploit, attack, or harm any website or system
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense scan reports without our written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content through the Service
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security features of the Service
Authenticated scans. If you create an auth profile or request an authenticated scan, you represent that you have permission to scan those authenticated routes and to provide the test-account credentials. You must use a least-privilege test account with dummy data and no administrator, billing, payment, destructive, or real customer access. You are responsible for limiting the allowed routes you submit and for ensuring the scan does not access areas you are not authorised to test.
Authenticated scan reports and AI analysis may include private screenshots, page text, HTML, metrics, and application state. You agree that this data may be processed by Vercel's AI infrastructure and the AI providers or sub-processors used to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Payment, Tiers & Refunds
The Service operates on a per-scan payment model. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and are charged via Stripe. All payments are in US dollars. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Tiers and page allowances. Each paid tier grants access to scan a website up to the maximum number of pages stated for that tier (the "page allowance"). The page allowance is an upper limit on the work the Service will perform for a single scan; it is not a credit, voucher, or stored balance. Pricing reflects the size of website the tier is designed to audit, not a per-page fee. You are responsible for selecting a tier appropriate to the website you intend to scan. If a scan completes without using the full page allowance — for example, because the website contains fewer crawlable pages than the tier maximum — the scan is considered delivered in full and no portion of the price is refundable, creditable, or carried over to a future scan.
Refund policy. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion if a scan fails to complete due to a defect in our Service. Refunds will not be issued if a scan completes successfully, even if the results are not to your satisfaction or the page allowance was not fully used, as the Service is delivered in full upon report generation. Refunds will not be issued if the target website is unreachable, blocks automated access, requires authentication without a valid auth profile, has invalid or insufficient test-account credentials, returns errors, or otherwise prevents scanning by factors outside our control. Where we choose to offer a refund as a goodwill gesture, doing so is not an admission of liability and does not establish a course of dealing or entitle you to refunds in future cases.
Promotional offers and free trials. Promotional credits, discounts, and free-trial scans are provided at our discretion, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be modified or revoked at any time. Free-trial scans are subject to additional anti-abuse limits (including, without limitation, per-domain and per-IP cooldowns) and may be denied if we reasonably suspect abuse.
Chargebacks and payment disputes. Before initiating a chargeback, dispute, or reversal with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, you agree to first contact us at legal@pagelensai.com and give us a reasonable opportunity (no less than seven (7) days) to investigate and resolve the matter. A chargeback or dispute initiated without first contacting us, or for a scan that was delivered in accordance with these Terms (including a scan that did not consume the full page allowance, or a scan whose findings you disagree with), is a material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right, in such cases, to: (i) suspend or terminate your account and any related accounts; (ii) refuse future Service to you; (iii) recover from you the chargeback amount, any fees charged to us by Stripe or the card network, the time value of staff handling the dispute at our then-current standard rate, and any reasonable costs of collection (including legal fees); and (iv) report the chargeback to fraud-prevention databases, credit bureaus, and collections agencies to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this paragraph limits or affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law where you are a consumer resident in the UK, or equivalent non-waivable rights in your jurisdiction of residence.
Taxes. Prices shown are exclusive of sales tax, VAT, GST, or any other applicable taxes or duties unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any such taxes that apply to your purchase, except for taxes on our net income.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing:
- Scan reports are generated by AI and automated tools. They may contain inaccuracies, false positives, false negatives, or incomplete analysis. Reports should not be treated as professional security audits, legal compliance certifications, or exhaustive assessments.
- We do not guarantee that all issues with your website will be identified, or that all findings are accurate or actionable.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- The security header analysis is informational only and does not constitute a penetration test, vulnerability assessment, or compliance certification.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anna Moore (trading as PageLens AI) and her employees, agents, contractors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any action taken or not taken based on scan reports or recommendations
- Any security breach, data loss, or vulnerability in your website, whether or not identified by the Service
- Any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in scan reports
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Any third-party conduct or content accessed through the Service
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anna Moore (trading as PageLens AI) and her employees, agents, contractors, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
- Your scanning of any website you do not own or have authorization to scan
- Any claim by a third party that your use of the Service infringes their rights
- Any action taken or not taken based on the information provided in scan reports
- Any security incident, data breach, or vulnerability in your website, regardless of whether it was identified by the Service
- Any chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal initiated by you (or by the cardholder of a payment instrument used by you) in breach of Section 5, including all chargeback amounts, processor and card-network fees, bank fees, currency-conversion losses, and the reasonable costs (including legal and collection fees) we incur in responding to or recovering such amounts
- Any misrepresentation by you regarding ownership of, or authorization to scan, a target website
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, AI models, prompts, and branding, is owned by Anna Moore (trading as PageLens AI) and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the websites you scan. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use scan reports for your own internal business purposes.
10. Third-Party Websites
The Service accesses third-party websites at your direction. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party website. You acknowledge that scanning a website involves automated access, and some websites may block, rate-limit, or restrict such access.
You are responsible for ensuring that websites you submit can be reached by PageLens scan workers from the selected AWS region, including updating allowlists or bot-protection rules where needed. AWS IP ranges can change over time, so any allowlist based on provider IP data should be maintained from AWS's current published ranges rather than copied once and forgotten.
11. Service Availability & Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or initiation of a chargeback in breach of Section 5. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5 (to the extent of accrued payment, refund, chargeback, and indemnity obligations), 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. You waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law where you are a consumer resident in the UK.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
15. Communications
By creating an account and using the Service, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your scan results, account activity, and service updates. If you submit a free trial scan, you may receive a single follow-up email with additional insights from your scan results. You can manage your email preferences in your account settings or unsubscribe via the link in any email. For full detail on how we handle email, see our Privacy Policy.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anna Moore (trading as PageLens AI) regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
