Is your tracking actually working?
Paste any URL. We'll detect every tracking pixel, analytics tool, and consent banner — then score your setup and show you what's missing.
Why does tracking matter?
Every ad platform (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn) needs a tracking pixel on your site to see which visitors convert. Without it, the ad algorithms can't optimise — and you're paying for clicks that never feed back into smarter targeting. Industry data shows properly instrumented sites see 15–35% lower acquisition costs.

FAQ
What tracking tools does this check for?
We detect Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Snapchat Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot, and Segment. We also check for consent management platforms (Cookiebot, OneTrust, Osano, etc.) and Google Consent Mode v2.
Why does consent management matter for tracking?
Under GDPR, UK PECR, and ePrivacy regulations, you must get explicit consent before setting non-essential cookies or firing tracking pixels. Without a consent banner, you're at risk of fines up to 4% of annual revenue. Google also requires Consent Mode v2 for any site serving ads in the EEA since March 2024.
What is Google Consent Mode v2?
Consent Mode v2 lets Google tags adjust their behaviour based on the visitor's consent choices. When a user declines cookies, Google uses privacy-safe modelling to recover approximately 65% of the conversion signal that would otherwise be lost. It's required for remarketing and conversion measurement in the EEA.
My site doesn't run ads — does tracking still matter?
Even without paid ads, analytics tools like GA4 and behaviour-recording tools like Hotjar/Clarity give you visibility into how visitors use your site. Without any analytics, you're flying blind on what works and what doesn't. And if you ever start running ads, you'll need conversion pixels in place first.
How is this different from a full PageLens AI audit?
This free tool checks tracking and consent only. A full PageLens AI audit covers 10 categories — tracking, SEO, accessibility, performance, security, design, content, errors, UX, and security headers — across every page of your site, with 8 expert persona reviews, screenshots, and a PDF report.
