Account and data

Privacy and data retention

Understand what PageLens stores, how authenticated scan data is treated, and where to manage account data.

5 min read

PageLens stores enough data to run scans, render reports, manage billing, and support your account. Authenticated scans require extra care because they can include logged-in screenshots or evidence.

Public scan data

Public scans may store page URLs, screenshots, findings, report summaries, page metrics, and scan metadata.

Authenticated scan data

Authenticated scans can include private application screens. Use test accounts and safe data. PageLens marks these scans as private and treats the generated artifacts as authenticated app data.

Credentials

Auth profile credentials are stored as encrypted secrets and used only for validation and scan automation. Delete auth profiles you no longer need.

Account data

Use Account and data from the account menu to manage account-level data requests. Privacy, GDPR, and legal contact routes are also listed on the contact and privacy pages.

Support tickets

Support tickets store the message thread, optional scan reference, requester, status, and timestamps so the team can respond and keep an audit trail. Avoid pasting secrets, production passwords, or customer personal data into ticket messages.

Still need help?

Open a support ticket and attach the scan if the question is about a specific report.
